Our Programs

Blue Room

The Blue Room is designed for children aged 6 months to 2 years. We know that leaving your child in childcare is a big step, so our experienced educators work to make the transition as smooth as possible for both children and parents. We incorporate your home routines, including sleep and feeding times, to help your child feel comfortable and settled.

Playing toddlers

We focus on building strong emotional bonds and positive relationships, recognising that this may be many families' first experience with early education service. Our thoughtful orientation program allows everyone to adjust at their own pace, ensuring a trusting environment for both children and families. This foundation supports the child's learning and encourages open communication with families.

Once settled, we focus on developing essential skills such as independence, motor skills, and social and language abilities.

Daily activities promote physical strength, coordination, and hand-eye skills, while we also support language development through reading, singing, and conversations. Sensory play activities like arts and crafts and social play help with self-expression and early social skills. Children can explore and play in our outdoor yard, where they can build gross motor skills and enjoy the sandpit.

Play-based activities in the Green Room help build confidence, social skills, and a love of learning. Educators create a stimulating environment that sparks children’s curiosity through experiences such as reading, singing, pretend play, construction, music, movement, and sensory exploration. Social interactions are key at this stage, so group activities like stories, songs, and games foster communication and cooperation.

Children refine their fine and gross motor skills through hands-on activities like puzzles, lacing, drawing, and creative arts such as playdough and painting. These activities help develop hand-eye coordination, dexterity, and spatial awareness.

Emotional and social development is supported through role play, dress-ups, and home corner activities, where children explore emotions, practice sharing, and build problem-solving skills.

The Green Room also has access to a large outdoor play area where children can enjoy ball games, sand play, climbing, and imaginative play. An undercover space ensures outdoor activities can continue, even on rainy or cold days, giving children plenty of opportunities for physical activity and exploration.
